Social and Community

Children are involved in helping the community and raising money for different charities. The children run Bake Sales, Pyjama Days and various other fundraisers. There are some events that have now become a tradition and they benefit the children, the school and the wider community.

The 9-12 Class visit the Orchard Day Care Centre (The Alzheimer’s Society of Irelan) weekly. It is a mutually beneficial experience for all involved. These visits have attracted the attention of RTE Radio 1 and The Independent newspaper.

Every Halloween we raise money at The Children’s House Primary for the Children’s Health Foundation.

Every year the children avidly read to raise money for this great cause.
