Parents’ Evening – Fundraising!

We are excited about our upcoming Fundraiser! As we are a non-for-profit school and rely totally on fees to keep the school going, fundraising is an important part of our year! This year we are going BIG!

We are going to have an evening of food, wine, prizes and entertainment in Gotham South, across from the school. We will be running a Strictly Come Dancing night and are looking for volunteers. We already have a few brave dancers but as they say ‘the more the merrier’! Please let either myself, Nuala Clifford or Fiona Mullin know if you are interested. Alternatively you can email Rhona or tell your class representative.

We will also need help organising the event and collecting prizes so if your talents don’t lie on the dance floor perhaps you could help in another area? The provisional date is Thursday, 4th February but we need to confirm a few things before we lock in a date.

We urge as many people as possible to get involved – it’s a great way to meet and interact with parents and get a sense of The Children’s House community, which is so important at this school. Help us to make this evening a great success! We would also love to hear any ideas people have – we know there is a wealth of talent amongst our parents so don’t be shy! We will let you know more details once we have confirmed the date and we hope to see both parents on the night – be it on the dancefloor or as a supportive ‘audience member’!
